About

Chairunnisa Zahra (Ara) is an Indonesian who loves learning languages and reading novels. She also enjoys travelling to historical sites and wandering around the city. She has a habit of pulling out her camera every time she goes out.

Ara has a deep interest in languages. She speaks fluent Indonesian and English. She also translates to and from both languages. You can view her translation portfolio here. Ara is currently studying Arabic, Korean, Persian, Spanish, German, and Japanese — not all at once; but she is making progress. She is planning on learning French as well. To Ara, language learning opens up a whole new world that she would never be able to access if she had never learned the language.

In terms of writing, Ara is capable of creating texts in both Indonesian and English. You can find and read her literature reviews and short stories on this blog. Once in a while, she would write about the places she had traveled to and would pour out her emotions in a rant post.
